The following is a list of modules available in the MSc in GIS programme. In year 1, all modules are compulsory and worth 15 credits.

AGI accredited course - 12 CPD points.

GEOG5811M: GIS in the Workplace (WUN)

In year 2, students are required to select two modules from a given stream and then 2 optional modules from any in the list below. Each module is worth 15 credits.

JUSO5571M: GIS for Environmental Management (WUN) (Southampton)
Our GIS for Environmental Management module is an AGI accredited course - 20 CPD points.

Stream 4: Health (University of Southampton)

Stream 5: Planning

GEOG5241: Applied Population and Demographic Analysis (WUN)

Stream 6: Remote Sensing (University of Southampton)

JUSO5261M: Remote Sensing for Earth Observation (WUN)
JUSO5251M: Topographic Data Analysis Techniques and Applications (WUN)

Year 3: MSc in GIS (ODL)

In the final year, students carry out an independent research project worth 60 credits.
